Hello I didn't know that I booked 2 places until Mark asked where my friend was. Then I was told if I was the only person I would of got cancelled. This wouldn't have suited me as I am going away next week. Anyway, I have a good understanding of manual photo taking. Mark was extremely patient and helped me. I was able to understand my camera better and now know what some of the features were and how to use them. I would be glad to have Mark again. I also learned that I will need a zoom lens and I plan to buy this next year before my trip to America. My lens is a basic lens, which is ok for the time being. My friend put me onto your lessons as her husband had attended a class previously.

Very good. As there were only two participants we were able to ask lots of questions, including a few which might have been slightly beyond the topic. Eddie was very helpful.

After missing out on the last 2 big Aurora displays I had been determined to not miss out again. Even with a 82 moon I went out. Once the moon set at 3am I started taking pictures capturing a small Aurora. It was about 4:30 am I looked up and could finally see the Aurora had gone crazy. I could even see a pink hue to the Aurora which I hadn't witnessed before.

Thank you for the consideration. Background to this photo.A couple of years ago on our local community page I saw a photo of a tree covered in bioluminescent fungi saying it was found in Gerroa, 5 minutes drive from me. Wow how amazing, so I set out to find it and photography it too. Since then I developed an interest in fungi and look forward to Autumn when there is plenty about. Mesa Arch is about a 25 minute walk from the parking lot in Canyonland National Park. At night, it's the darkest sky I've ever seen.
