Hello I didn't know that I booked 2 places until Mark asked where my friend was. Then I was told if I was the only person I would of got cancelled. This wouldn't have suited me as I am going away next week. Anyway, I have a good understanding of manual photo taking. Mark was extremely patient and helped me. I was able to understand my camera better and now know what some of the features were and how to use them. I would be glad to have Mark again. I also learned that I will need a zoom lens and I plan to buy this next year before my trip to America. My lens is a basic lens, which is ok for the time being. My friend put me onto your lessons as her husband had attended a class previously.

Very good. As there were only two participants we were able to ask lots of questions, including a few which might have been slightly beyond the topic. Eddie was very helpful.

We often go for a walk on Brighton Beach, South Australia, usually early morning. Recently we switched to afternoon/evening walks. I spontaneously decided to take my camera, just in case we would have a nice sunset. I was rewarded with a beautiful sunset and could take a few nice shots.

This picture was taken during the recent solar storm event. This is my mate's property, and the old house is actually his grandfather's house however no one had lived in this house since World War 2. The night I took this image was rather spontaneous. I was actually at this location the night before capturing star images. when I got home 1.5 Hrs drive I noticed that my phone had a heap of solar storm alerts and decided to head back to the property. I set up an RGB light and set it to candle

I was driving back from Victor Harbour in the early hours of the morning, I turned onto the wrong road I was just gobsmacked by the light shining through the trees. To make matters better a bunch of kangaroos started hopping out onto the road. I stopped, got my camera out and just started snapping, perfect timing as a roo jumped out as i was taking the photo.

?This past Father?s Day I went to a family farm cidery with my oldest daughter. The drinks were good, the company was great, but the best part was the farm?s commitment to keeping wild, native plants for pollinators. This little bee found a delicious clover and I got this macro shot.?

Arches is considered a dark sanctuary meaning using light painting is not allowed. I went to do Astro Photography in June of 2021. This was taken approximately 2am when the Milky Way rose to the center of the arch. While it is a dark sanctuary, someone was hiking on the other side with a headlamp giving me just a touch of light painting to outline the arch. I held the wide angle lens open approximately 13-seconds, ISO 1600.
