Having lived at Port Willunga for almost 51 years, our glorious Fleurieu Peninsula coastline is ?at my doorstep?. The majestic Sellicks cliffs are amazing at any time and even more so when the setting sun is this far south-west and during what I call a ?big sky sunset?, where the clouds moving up Gulf St Vincent fan out in huge V shapes. Thank you for considering my photo for Photo of the Week! I have a number of bottle brush trees in my back yard, and birds love the blossoms when they bloom in the Spring. I usually see numerous hummingbirds and sparrows, but I saw this gorgeous bird one afternoon resting in the branches. I was able to get a couple of shots off before it flew away.
